Grandma’s Christmas cookie jar was always full. I would stop and enjoy her special cookies on my way home from school just about every day. I couldn’t wait for that bell at the end of the day. I was young at the time but it seemed like my grandma had a cookie jar for every season and every holiday. My sister and I would enjoy looking at her collection in the basement, high on the top shelf, she must of had a hundred cookie jars.
My sister and I started this website in honor of our dear grandmother and in memory of all those cookie jars she so proudly displayed year round. We still wounder what ever happened to her collection. Probably proudly displayed on a few antique dealer’s tables at a local antique show somewhere. We like to Browse the antique shops in different towns we vacation at from time to time, just to see if we can spot a cookie jar that we remember from grandma’s kitchen counter.
